Our opportunity
In this role, you will be a member of Global Shared Services team, collaborating closely with the HR Operations and Technology team in implementing the global HR ServiceNow roadmap, supporting the HR demand from all the countries in scope and working on different projects together with several other teams across the regions.
As a Technical Lead for our ServiceNow HR team, you will use your knowledge and experience of HR operations and the ServiceNow HR Service Delivery (HRSD) platform to optimize our HR operations and help driving business results.
The job’s core deliverables will rely on delivering services to internal clients. It may involve sharing subject matter expertise to others in the organization or supporting others in their efforts to deliver on our promise.
Your role
As ServiceNow HR Technical Lead your main responsibilities will involve :
Working in a global HR team around ServiceNow HRSD projects through discovery, design, build, test, and deployment activities together with several other teams across the regions
Provide ServiceNow technical support to different stakeholders
Recommend best practice technical design, components, models and deliverables
Drive improvements on existing HRSD solution
Bring technical expertise helping the support team to solve complex issues
Job accountabilities
Analysis and investigation of new ServiceNow features / releases and the potential implementation into the Zurich context, following an Out of The Box philosophy
Able to define technical solutions to be implemented directly or by the HR Support team
Work closely with the platform architects to design solutions for HR
Coordinate handling of data requests / defects / change requests with IT partners
Participation in update calls with HR and IT partners
Testing and validation of ServiceNow solutions
Respond to production support issues
Maintain relationship with stakeholders and be able to translate business requirements into technical solutions with a business analyst mindset
Manage the enhancement release process (involvement in UAT, incident management, communication, post-implementation quality checks)
Configure, manage and monitor HR Services, permissions, security segregation.
Your Skills and Experience
As a ServiceNow HR Technical Lead your skills and qualifications will ideally include :
Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent), preferably with IT / HRIS background
5+ years of experience in ServiceNow implementations and optimizations
3+ years of experience working as ServiceNow HRSD Developer Lead
3+ years of experience in the delivery and implementation of ServiceNow HRSD core module(s)
2+ years’ experience implementing Portal solutions (widgets, catalog, knowledge base, etc.)
Experience developing detailed implementation plans in ServiceNow
Experience with ServiceNow integrations
Knowledge of HR functions, processes, and best practices
Experience in Project Management
Good command of English (C1)
Agile & Scrum Management experience would be a plus
Service oriented working style and team player attitude, including the ability to work well under pressure
Good analytical skills, attention to details and great level or professionalism
Technical skills Coding with Web Technologies (JavaScript, HTML, CSS, JSON, XML) and / or Glide APIs, Jelly, AngularJS would be a plus
