Lubrizol produces and supplies technologies to customers in the global transportation, industrial and consumer markets. In addition, Lubrizol makes ingredients and additives for home care and personal care products and pharmaceuticals, and specialty materials, including plastics technology and performance coatings in the form of resins and additives.
As regional Compensation Manager (m / f / d) you will be the focal point in EMEAI for compensation with focus on programs and tools to support talent attraction, motivation, and retention in line with the Global Total Rewards strategy.
You will ensure our compensation practices are consistent, fair, and aligned to regional markets.
The position can be located anywhere in Europe where we operate a Lubrizol facility.
Key Accountabilities & Responsibilities
Coordinate, develop and maintain compensation management policies and processes in EMEAI, ensuring global alignment and meeting regional / country requirements and market needs
Undertake analysis and make recommendations to global compensation team and EMEAI HR team, including job evaluations
Act as consultant on individual compensation matters with HR Business Partners, Site HR teams and local Talent Acquisition teams
Ensure that all schemes and programs are administered in line with local legislation and corporate policy
With the guidance of global compensation, initiate the annual review of country salary structures, with the support from country HR Shared Services teams, to ensure pay competitiveness for each country
Drive compensation program implementation for the region in coordination with global and regional HR
Ensure regional competitive compensation by selecting and ensuring participation in third party salary surveys working with Global Compensation
Skills, Qualification, Experience
Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Human Resources or similar
Minimum 5 years of HR experience at a professional level with some exposure to handling compensation issues
Ability to work independently and to build good working relationships
Excellent analytical skills, including high level spreadsheet capabilities (Excel, Power BI);
An understanding of different types of compensation programs
Good networking and researching skills the ability to explore alternative approaches, gather market data, and present well-reasoned proposals to senior stakeholders
Fluent in English, other European languages are an advantage
Experience of working with colleagues in other countries, within a multi-national organization would be a great advantage
Manage compensation programs and tools for a diverse internal customer base across Europe, Middle East, Africa, and India
Work in a multinational matrix-organization with strong compensation packages
Be involved and contribute to exciting projects like improving compensation market data base or establishing new ways of working for our compensation processes
