ABOUT THE POSITION

Results-driven Sales Manager Digital to be based in Spain, to manage all digital sales functions for an assigned geographic region.

Responsibilities include managing sales for the assigned Region, developing sales plans, and researching market opportunities.

HOW YOU’LL MAKE A DIFFERENCE

  • Being a digital thought leader, enforcing a collaborative test and learn culture while fostering fast and nimble decision making, hyper-responsive to the market, and ability to change track
  • Responsible for budget, planning and managing the online customers on the European South market (Spain, Portugal & Italy)
  • Playing a key role in bringing to life the brand creative vision within the wholesale online accounts
  • Hitting and overachieving top line and margin across online channels
  • Execute the overall Columbia & Sorel digital GTM strategy, working closely with the Regional Director Europe South, Country Managers, Regional Marketing Manager, and Wholesale Ecommerce Sales Manager, and Social Media Specialist Europe
  • Building and driving the execution of the regional e-commerce and marketplaces GTM strategy
  • Working with the local key account and sales managers to help articulate and execute the plan for how products will be sold and differentiated across our multiple channels
  • Working with multi-functional teams in Marketing, Merchandising, Planning, Account Services to ensure e-commerce GTM is an innovative and amazing experience for consumers
  • Work closely with marketing team and ensure the on-line brand experience is supported by the assortment and promotional activity.
  • Coordinate with European Products / Sales / Marketing teams to align with the global strategy and ensure business targets are on track.
  • Centrally coordinate SMU requests and price confirmation ensuring the feedback from online accounts are received by the merchandising teams when working on the SMUs.
  • Supports the focus on digital business growth strategy working closely with the Digital and Ecommerce departments
  • YOU ARE

  • Ability to define, manage, and execute the overall on-line channel strategy for on-line accounts
  • Fluency in Spanish and English. Italian is a plus.
  • Ability to define, develop and lead online channel programs in a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment
  • Strong business judgment, proven ability to influence others
  • Ability to use SAP, Salesforce.com or other ERP / CRM tools desirable
  • Skilled at assortment creation and understanding of product lines and categories
  • Skilled and versed in utilizing e-commerce marketing tools (i.e. ad words, banner adverts) and terminology (i.e. ROaS, traffic, conversion)
  • Ability to travel 50% of the time
  • YOU HAVE

  • 3-5 years e-commerce experience, preferably in an international environment
  • Strong consumer sales experience, preferably in the apparel, footwear, sporting goods industry
  • Cross-country trading experience
  • Proficiency with P&L management
  • Experience using SAP, Salesforce.com or other ERP / CRM tools desirable
  • Skilled at assortment creation and understanding of product lines and categories
  • Skilled and versed in utilizing e-commerce marketing tools (i.e. ad words, banner adverts) and terminology (i.e. ROaS, traffic, conversion)
