About the role
Your Opportunity In this role, you will be accountable for the Category Management agenda with some of the biggest Retailers in Spain such as Carrefour, El Corte Ingles, or Acampo, as well as manage Off Trade category-related programs and execute them focusing on the Spanish market.
In this role, there is a great opportunity to lead the growth of Vermouth and other Spirits categories in an everyday challenging channel.
Where different format stores are evolving and there is a need of finding the balance between the traditional off trade approach and the new drive and proximity approach, of course increasing our core and premium portfolio business in line with our above categories performance.
About You Your ability to manage multiple projects, as well as internal and external stakeholders at any given time will be key, as will be your comfort in working seamlessly within the matrix, in particular with the Commercial, Customer, and Consumer Marketing teams.
You will be part of the team of local experts on Shoppers across the Off Trade and how their needs and decisions shape category choice and brand choice across channel segments.
With our Consumer at the heart, your key focus will be to :
Analysis Category Data (Bacardi Brand's and Competitors) according to with different source of information.
Implementing and updating category dashboards (channels & major retailers in charge), based on panels and customer databases (Nielsen, Publinfo, Kantar, others).
Analysis of Customers Performance, by category, to identify business development opportunities or deviations and develop corrective actions when necessary.
Implement and follow up the Category Management Projects, developing : Market reviews.
Definition of assortment / planogram (products and appropriate formats)
Definition of merchandising plans for the point of sale
Evaluate the rate of sale of our brands and propose actions to get better results.
Ensure projects' evaluation with the RGM Manager to optimize future plans and deliver feedback to the teams involved.
Skills and Experience
The Skills & Experience needed to create your legacy
A strong knowledge about Shopper's Insights, major Retailers Ways of Working, as well as the Brands' Global Strategy, that will enable the development of better solutions for the channel and customers.
Degree in Business Administration, Economics, Marketing, or similar
5+ years of professional experience in Retail, Sales, Category Management, or Trade Marketing positions in the Off-Trade channel.
The experience in the Off-Trade channel (Retailer or Manufacturer) is very valuable.
High computer skills in Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Panels (ie Nitro, Kantar, IRI), and Merchandising (ie Spaceman).
Advanced level of Spanish and English.
It is essential to have experience in managing projects with sales teams.
