We are looking for a dynamic, independent, self-starting individual who has the ability to play a key role in sales of the Elekta products in Iberia (specifically Northern Spain).

The Account Manager will be responsible for maximizing order intake (forecast accuracy), sales, prices realization and customer satisfaction (NPS) whilst developing and optimizing the customer relationship in order to ensure the long term profitability in Iberia.

This role will involve extensive travel within the Iberian Region with occasional attendance at evening and weekend events and overseas travel.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Accountable for maximizing order intake, sales and price realization at the assigned accounts within the district
  • Ensure continuity of the relationship with the accounts and operates at multiple levels in the accounts’ organizations, but also facilitates the executive level interfaces between company and the accounts
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of local marketing strategies
  • Ensure that all customers are provided with high quality care and attention throughout the sales process, so that each customer is fully satisfied with the support of Elekta
  • Responsible for filling the funnel management tool (CLM) and systematically analysing win & loss deals, expectations, customer satisfaction (NPS), market, competition and trends
  • Responsible for the sales forecast at the assigned accounts
  • Responsible for maintaining customer accounts, opportunities and contact information in the Elekta CLM system.
  • Coordinate all internal necessary resources to obtain objectives and where necessary involves others where necessary
  • Diagnose and advise customer issues regarding Elekta products, system configurations and total solutions
  • Responsible for the completion and delivery of tender responses, with the support from Business Managers as needed, to set timescales
  • Ensure that completed quotations are based on a solution / configuration compliant to specifications validated by the Business, and it is properly reviewed by Operations for feasibility and accuracy prior to being issued
  • Attendance and representation of Elekta at conferences, symposiums, shows and other events, this may include weekend work as required
  • AUTHORITIES

  • Management of Advanced Clinical Sales Experts availability
  • Setting and managing assigned budgets- (if applicable)
  • Travel authorization
  • Relevant Knowledge, skills and competencies

  • Experience in a commercial, sales or account management role preferably in Healthcare or B2B environment
  • Excellent presentation Skills, the ability to communicate effectively to groups and individuals
  • Ability to communicate with multi-disciplinary professions at all levels of authority.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to effectively interact with customers (face-to-face, via phone and email)
  • Ability to Travel 50 - 70% within Spain & Portugal
  • Familiarity / proficiency with IT-tools including the following software : Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
  • Educated to degree level you will have ideally had experience gained within a medical sales environment
  • Ideally a minimum of 3 year's knowledge in the Healthcare / Medtech Market
  • A driving license is essential for this role (company car provided).
  • Fluent in English & Spanish, verbal and written in addition to local language
