The Demand Planning Manager is responsible for sales forecasts for a country / area : (gathering information (promotions, advertisements.
validating data, consistency between actual and forecast...) in cooperation with the sales, marketing and customer service department.
Indeed, its role is to elaborate and share objective and reliable sales forecasts, based on reference analysis. These forecasts enable the factories to produce and deliver our logistics bases in order to guarantee the best service rate to our customers and consumers.
YOUR MISSION :
Update data based on sales and marketing results,
Collecting basic assumptions and piloting forecasting models,
Update statistical forecasts according to marketing actions (sales, marketing, customer impact, etc.)
Collect information on the product life cycle (introduction of new products, product cannibalization, end of life)
Use customer data to clarify the request,
Facilitate the Demand Planning process,
Facilitate exchanges between the different functions to arrive at a single forecast,
Ensure consistency of forecasts from period to period, monitor and explain changes,
Help identify risks and opportunities,
To be in a dynamic of continuous improvement in order to improve the accuracy of forecasts,
Maintain system data on the brands maintained (model parameters, sku characteristics, etc.).
