French-speaking Travel Counselor-(220000TF)
As part of a virtual team in combination with local markets teams, the multi-language flexible consultant provides consultative customer support services to global clients assigned to this service configuration via multiple channels.
Main Responsibilities :
Creates and completes travel arrangements (car, hotel, air, rail) for moderately complex accounts
Sells products that are of commercial value to CWT and contribute to CWT’s profitability; sells add on attachments (hotel, other);
upsells targeted areas of travel
Acts as a trusted advisor by offering informed and insightful recommendations which provide the best traveler experience in each situation
Resolves moderately complex problems with potentially non-standard and multi destinations, ticket exchanges and complex fares
Escalates more complex problems to more experienced staff
Assignments include both routine and non-routine work
High School diploma
Good travel industry knowledge
Skilled in GDS : Amadeus SellCo mandatory : including ATC, manual changes, Air (multiple destinations), car reservations,...multi GDS is a plus.
Skilled in other tools used by CWT (CXP, Power Hotel, Power express, Power Library) and booking processes
OBTs knowledge and differences between online vs offline processes
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Self-sufficient counselor, capable to find solutions for problems not previously raised.
Strong organization / time management skills and good attention to detail.
Aptitude to build relationships, develop trust and foster confidence.
Must demonstrate and maintain the highest level of professionalism anytime.
Team player across the whole markets. Intrapersonal skills.
Adaptability : different markets and customers as needed.
2+ years of experience working in a customer service environment that includes 2+ year as a travel counselor
For European Markets :
French minimum B2 / C1 level (verbal and written)
Fluent Spanish (verbal and written)
Ability to speak English is also desirable
