Qualifications Minimum qualifications : BA / BSc degree or equivalent practical experience. Experience working within the advertising industry, industry relations, external affairs or public policy function of a company.

Preferred qualifications : Knowledge of all Google advertising tools. Familiarity with advertising, tech and trade associations.

Understanding of the public policy landscape facing Google and the online advertising industry. Ability to manage and allocate a budget (negotiating contracts, opening and fulfilling purchase orders, etc).

Effective verbal and written communication skills, including presentation writing and delivery. growth initiatives. As an Advertising Industry Relations Manager, you will support the Head of EMEA Advertising Industry Relations and MD of Industry Relations EMEA in building and managing external relationships with select industry trade organizations, regulators, thought leaders and policy-

shapers within the advertising industry. Additionally, you will work with Public Policy, PR, Marketing and Sales leads, to help develop and coordinate communications and strategy.

The Go-to-Market Operations (GtM) team ensures Google's complex and ever-evolving Ads business runs smoothly. We are instrumental in setting go-

to-market strategy, and ensuring flawless execution and operations against the strategy. We have teams embedded in each of the major Ads business areas as well as global teams that work across the business areas.

Team members are analytical and strategic, with a pragmatic sense of how to get things done. Responsibilities Map, manage and cultivate relationships with industry trade associations, industry groups and regulators, meeting regularly with organization contacts and identifying new industry leaders.

Ensure coordination of local strategy and priorities within a pan-EMEA Google Industry Relations strategic approach, through knowledge sharing with Google Head of EMEA Industry Relations and through training.

Engage directly with industry thought-leaders and policymakers to ensure they understand our company and recognise our commitment to the communities we serve.

Contribute to and shape content at key industry events within Italy to strengthen relationships with organizations and the businesses they serve.

Work to ensure a joined-up approach internally with Google Head of EMEA Industry Relations and with national Policy, PR and Marketing teams and Google business leaders.
