We are looking for a Supply Chain Manager for our South Complex in Valencia area (Gandía and Tavernes box plants)
Job summary :
Overall the Supply Chain Manager has to fulfil customer requirements while maximizing plant throughput, optimizing the freight / warehousing costs and driving inventory at target.
Responsible for all supply chain management functions, including production planning, inventory management, warehousing and in-house & external warehousing and transportation.
Must be thoroughly involved with procurement inside and outside sales service, as well as production and merchandise planning.
Key Accountabilities :
Ensure team’s responsibility communicate with customers, estimate and enter orders, and perform a variety of additional activities to facilitate excellent customer relationships
Guarantee customers’ orders are entered in the ERP on a timely basis
Be accountable for Customer Master data maintenance , as well as SSP and Price List (Plants in Witron)
Own the end-to-end order management follow-up : monitor estimated shipments dates and follow-up with the Supply Chain Teals to achieve on-time customer deliveries.
Insure effective communication is in place with customers regarding updates such as order status, estimates and quotations, order changes and confirmations, as well as any complaints or questions.
Coordinate account credits with Credit team
Drive the full utilization of ERP (OMP, AS400 or CPMS Witron) to schedule corrugator and converting lines according to job priorities, board grades and related specifications,
Be accountable to develop close cooperation and smooth communication across the teams on production status, required resources, manage overruns, shortages.
Ensure trim at target
Define right target inventory level to insure smooth operations and fulfil customer needs
Define proper reorder policy for Make-to-Stock (Plants in Witron)
Drive target inventory to target level
Monitor ageing inventory and take necessary coordination efforts to minimize waste
Logistics (Warehousing / Transportation)
Work closely with customer service department, production planning, finishing, accounting and sales to ensure full customer satisfaction.
Manage all warehouse space to best service of our customers
Manage Returned Goods process
Manage customer non-technical complains
Ensure that trucks are scheduled to the best efficiency and meet customers’ delivery dates
Maintain the integrity of finished goods inventory inside the facility and in outside warehouses. Work closely with accounting and customer service to ensure accuracy of data.
Responsible for tracking inventory.
Be a point of contact for carriers, partner with Global Sourcing Team
Own On-Time Delivery
Key Challenges :
Cooperate closely with the all Box Plant functions with the aim to ensure that customers’ expectations are met
Manage multilayer communication within the Box Plant business
Own Supply Chain budget (transportation, warehousing, working capital, outsourcing) all included in Cost-to-Serve
Strengthen the Supply Chain processes
Play the role of catalyst change agent to identify deliberate and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance customer experience and optimize Cost-to-Serve
The role has a high degree of responsibility for ensuring the on time delivery of our products and services to the Customer
Knowledge and Experience
5-10 years’ experience in a multinational company
Former experience in supply chain roles
Comfortable around senior management and able to interact effectively with various levels of the organization
Specific Competencies :
Making complex simple and dealing with ambiguity to optimize work / communication efficiencies
Organization skills to manage tight / conflicting priorities while maintaining appropriate work-life balance
Excellent planning, organizing and navigating through the organization skills
Strong IT background to leverage on system solutions and be more effective in the role
