ITS Analytics Expert is responsible for the solutioning, design, and implementation of data analytics and reporting requirements between SHIFT and connected systems which includes Business Objects, SAP BW, TM1, QlikView and other solutions.
He / she will collaborate with the ITS community to identify the best analytics solutions based on the business requirements that are either available within Sanofi or need to be established.
He / she will ensure the relationship with the ITS service owner for each solution selected and capture SHIFT requirements that map to these solutions.
For each solution, he / she will define the roles and responsibility between SHIFT team and the service owner. For SHIFT responsibility, he / she will create design;
define usage rules, standards and documentation to be followed
During execution phase, he / she will put in place quality gate to ensure that implementation partner follow the defined rules.
He / she will drive the implementation partner activities in analytics architecture design, development, testing and deployments.
MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES :
In the context of the SHIFT Project, the main duties of the ITS Analytics Expert are :
Understand the business requirements for reporting and analytics for SHIFT and define the list of solutions that will be required to satisfy these requirements
Build, own and share decision tree to leverage right solution for a particular requirement with pros and cons
For each solution, define informal SOPs and usage rules
Design the architecture needed for reporting solution for data that lie outside of SHIFT (S / 4HANA) including other reporting solutions such as TM1, QlikView, Microstrategy etc.
Consider big data analytics where needed and the solutions around it (eg. Hadoop for cold data storage)
Ensure the solution setup and level of services by liaising with the ITS IS and Integration SHIFT leader
Implementation and support
Organize and execute Knowledge transfer to implementation partner on decision tree and norms / standards
Support the development and delivery of reusable components that can be orchestrated together using different methods
Set quality gates to ensure implementation partner is following agreed rules
REQUIREMENTS : EDUCATIONAL BACKGROUND
Post-graduate studies (4 / 5 years) : Master in IT or Engineering
Knowledgeable in reporting and analytics topics
Knowledgeable in different data analytics technologies for both SAP and non-SAP
Knowledge of working in SAP functional areas and converting business requirements into specifications
Experience and working knowledge in SAP lifecycle projects
Experience of projects in complex and international environment
A good track record in SAP projects especially from reporting and data analytics standpoint
At ease with Microsoft Office tools, and in general with IS tools
