TransPerfect Learning is seeking a Learning & Development Solutions Coordinator who is motivated, ambitious and technically savvy.
This person will assist on key enterprise accounts and strategic initiatives, help in performing analysis & evaluation, and help design & articulate solutions to both a business and technical audience.
A successful candidate will have a good understanding of new and existing technologies and industry trends related to E-Learning and LMS platforms.
This role will require a very strong sense of urgency and organization to provide high quality solutions.
Plan and assist in implementing enterprise level E-Learning solutions for our wide portfolio of clients
Assist in new business process : RFP, presentations, proposals
Assist in pre-sales meetings or workshops
Consult with key business and technology contacts to provide technical solutions
Work closely with the E-Learning Strategy Consultant, E-Learning Solutions Architect, E-Learning Developers, Specialists and Project Managers in the definition, articulation, and presentation of proposed e-learning solutions
Manage initial POC / Pilots and subsequent on-boarding of designed E-Learning solutions to internal and client teams
Assist in building overall plans / budgets and subsequent adherence
Assist in training and adoption of E-Learning processes for internal and client teams
Take on responsibility and ownership of tasks, work well as part of a team and be self motivated
Acquire first-hand knowledge on TransPerfect’s and partner technologies, tools and enhancements
Required skills and experience :
Minimum 1 year experience in E-Learning industry positions
Excellent English written and verbal communication skills
Ability to write structured technical documentation
Experience with E-Learning authoring tools (Articulate, Storyline, Lectora, Captivate, Flash etc.)
Basic XML and HTML5 working knowledge Excellent problem solving and analytical skills
Strong interpersonal skills
Effective Project management and time management skills
Ability to be a fast learner and apply those lessons to similar situations
Ability to take on challenges with a strong desire to gain experience in the E-Learning development and localization industry
Desired skills and experience :
Instructional design basic exposure will be an added advantage
Proficient in a second language such as French or German will be an added advantage
Basic knowledge of different Learning Management System platforms (Totara, TalentLMS, Moodle, Cornerstone, SuccessFactors etc.
and standards (scorm, xAPI etc.)
Basic experience handling audio, video and different multimedia components when applied to E-Learning (cue points, subtitling, untimed audio, timed audio etc.)
Basic experience with E-Learning project management techniques
