We are looking for a driven Junior Sales Account Manager to promote and grow the sales and gross margin of our Savory flavors and Ingredient portfolio, which entails : identifying, developing and closing new sales opportunities.

Reporting to the sales manager, YOU will be responsible for developing value-added ingredient sales activities to savory-food industry accounts (savory snacks, ready meals, sauces, soup, processed meat ).

The position is responsible for customers in Spain and will be a home office based role.

  • We offer you a comprehensive eight weeks on-boarding training, which will take place full time in our regional HQ in Illkirch, France.
  • This secures a solid foundation to understand the organization and its products, technologies, systems, supporting functions and culture, which enhances your ability to quickly become productive and integrated into the Sensient organization.

  • After that, you will focus on delivering new sales opportunities with existing accounts, as well as developing new customers for our Savory Flavors business in Spain.
  • To continuously help you to be successful in this position; we support you in working cross-functionally with our R&D, Marketing, Commercial, Operational and Service teams.

  • You will play a key role in understanding customer needs and linking those to our products, developing and executing a territorial coverage plan and participating in long term projects, whilst ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction.
  • What do you need to bring with you?

  • Your background in chemistry, biochemistry, Food Science, or related discipline, or your strong technical sales experience will be critical to engage into technical conversations both internally and with customers.
  • Your extensive sales experience in a B2B sales environment, preferably within Food ingredients, specialty chemicals, or other value-added ingredients, is essential to have an impact on the market.
  • Proficiency in Spanish and English are needed in order to communicate effectively inside and outside the organization.
  • Your excellent customer service orientation, your communication and negotiation skills, will help you to grow our sales revenue and build successful, long-term client relationships.
  • Online collaboration and international travel may be required.
