The Trek Retail Marketing Coordinator will act as a key level of marketing support for the Direct Owned Trek Stores (DOTS), and the Independent Bicycle Dealer (IBD) network.

The Retail Marketing Coordinator will be the key point of contact for store managers and district managers on day-to-day marketing topics from digital activities to traditional POP activities.

The role therefore requires great communication and organizational skills. The job role is diverse and calls for a candidate who is able to multi-task, think on their feet and confidently work on a number of different projects at any one time, successfully hitting scheduled deadlines.


  • Own the campaign implementation process for the DOTS and the flagship retailer group
  • Support the EU Retail Marketing Manager on all Direct Owned Trek Store marketing projects
  • Be the key point of contact for DOTS Store Managers and Territory Managers for Flagships and IBDs on any day-to-day marketing requests
  • In-store event coordination for DOTS including assisting on-site where required
  • Coordinate product launch marketing activities across the DOTS, Flagships and IBDs ensuring maximum exposure and footfall is generated
  • Manage the POP program for the IBD network
  • Actively work with the sales representatives with training and guidance for in-store brand updates keeping the Trek standards at their highest level.
  • Be the liaison between Trek dealers and the European retail department on key projects.

  • Key point of contact for Social media activities across the DOTS from content suggestion to maintaining brand standards
  • Monitor the digital basics across the DOTS and Flagship retailer groups from Google My Business to listings
  • Manage the retail budget across France, Spain and Portugal according to an annual plan involving campaigns, product launches and in-store brand updates.
  • Oversee the brand update calendar and compile all required documentation.

  • Coordinate with Market Specialists for providing translation and proofing requests from social copy through to product launch marketing materials.

  • Excellent time management and pro-active goal accountability
  • Great customer service skills both internally and externally
  • Ability to build sound relationships
  • Experience in sales, marketing or retail-related field essential
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision on projects
  • Event experience essential
  • Highly organized
  • Must have strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong digital skills essential
  • Ability to confidently report on digital metrics to senior managers
  • Fluent in English, Spanish and French, spoken and written.
