The Iberia Finance Director will provide executive leadership and overall management of the company’s financial organization.
This role will plan and execute relevant strategies to enable the achievement of Ingenico Payment Solutions IBERIA strategic goals as required.
The position will provide overall leadership and focus to the relevant functions to support all other areas of the company.
The company : Ingenico IBERIA is the leadership provider of POS technology and payment services & applications in Spain and Portugal.
The Ingenico brand is easily identified in most of the merchant ecosystem in the territory and is the preferred choice from the leading banking entities in Iberia (all listed in IBEX35).
With +800.000 installed based of payment terminals (POS) and 75% revenue growth in last 3 years Ingenico is undisputed leader for TaaS (Terminal as a Service) in Spain and Portugal;
and extending its footprint into other European countries.
Essential Functions / Responsibilities :

Provide leadership and direction for the development and execution of all relevant practices, policies, and strategies.
Leading and managing the Finance organization with responsibility over Accounting, FP&A, Tax, Treasury, Accounts Payable, Billing & Collections, internal and external Reporting.
Provide the local Management team with financial advice and input on all aspects of company strategy, goals and objectives.
Partner with various members of the local Management team as needed to address both tactical and strategic initiatives in the most cost effective manner.
Work with the TSS Group and external partners to increase Ingenico profitability and attainment of Local goals.
Supports the sales team and legal in negotiating appropriate legal terms for purchase / licensing / service agreements.
Support the implementation of Ingenico transformation (BOOST) initiatives.
Provides margin calculation and guidance on deal pricing.
Cash flow management and working capital optimization.
Develop and control the overall annual budgets in the IBERIA Region. Also provide effective input to all other departments regarding budget and development and performance.
Work closely with all cross-functional leadership to support the business needs (i.e., Sales, Product Management, Product Development, Operations, Strategic Initiatives, Customer Support and other teams) as Lead Finance Business Partner.
Manage 3rd party vendor relations including legal, tax and audit consultants, etc.
Is responsible for month-end and year-end close as well as mid-year / year-end audit and oversight of all mandatory tax filings.
Provide leadership, guidance and mentor direct reports and staff and be a role model for the company.
Support and locally manage the legal and financial optimization of the various Local entities (tax / operations / synergetic analysis and structuring).
Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
Competencies / Skills Requirements :
Strong demonstrated business acumen, including experience with sales forecasting, budgeting, P&L responsibility and employee management.
Desirable but not mandatory Knowledge and experience of working with banking, finance and other external organizations.
Understanding of both the technology and payment industry
Local GAAP and IFRS knowledge & experience required.
SAP preferred, BFC / TM1 (Cognos)
Must have extensive P&L, Free Cash Flow, forecasting, Ebit optimization, Ad Hoc analysis experience.
Technical skills in strategic planning, trend analysis, process evaluation and financial modelling.
Strong interpersonal skills to include the ability to mentor, coach, and train.
Capable of managing multiple projects and responsibilities.
Used to work in Matrix Organisation will be key to be successful
Excellent communication and presentation skills.
Outstanding knowledge on Local financial rules, where relevant.
Supervisory Responsibility :
Demonstrated ability to lead professionals through influence and collaboration. Proficient in team building, conflict resolution, group interaction, project management, and budget management.
Proven experience in developing and leading a team that is aligned with the goals and direction of the company.
Local controlling / FP&A team
Required Education / Experience Requirements :
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Master’s or MBA preferred. CPA preferred but not required.
10+ years of experience in relevant financial and operational management.
Proficiency in English & Spanish.
Working in multinational companies, matrix environment
