This position is responsible for overseeing outside of US (OUS) compliance efforts, analyzing jurisdictional profits across the organization and executing our global transfer pricing strategy.
By developing an in-depth understanding of our supply and value chain, this role will perform detailed analyses of our legal entity earnings across the organization and work with cross-functional teams to drive value through the implementation of intercompany supply chain projects.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities
Review and manage quarterly and year-end foreign tax provisions and financial audit deliverables for OUS operations.
Work closely with local country finance and accounting teams to monitor and ensure compliance with direct and indirect monthly, quarterly and annual compliance deadlines and deliverables for OUS operations.
Develop and / or review transfer pricing policies and establish transfer pricing documentation for global operations, including local files (where applicable) and any secondary filings.
Utilize technology to drive process automation in the execution of our global transfer pricing strategy.
Analyze global pre-tax profit mix by jurisdiction to understand legal entity profit changes, changes over prior periods, and project profit mix in future periods.
Manage local advisors, local tax audits, and corresponding with local tax authorities.
Provide tax support to Accounting and external auditors in preparation of local statutory filings to ensure tax accounts are appropriately stated.
Support or lead other tax projects (i.e. technology enhancements, value chain analysis, manufacturing network optimization, intercompany supply chain).
Expected Areas of Competence
Experience with P&L analysis, preferably including intercompany and legal entity accounting
Ability to analyze large quantities of data; able to work with details and also explain the big picture
Highly proficient with building financial models and logical spreadsheets
Ability to interpret and apply technical literature and SEC regulations including ability to communicate results in written technical memos as well as verbal communications to broad audience
Proficient-to-advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Products, preferably including experience working with financial tools and database software
Education / Experience Requirements
Undergraduate degree in accounting; a post-graduate degree in business or tax is preferred.
6-8 years in a financial or tax accounting role, preferably including transfer pricing and / or global compliance experience.
CPA certification preferred.
