As Regional Sales Manager, you will be responsible for the overall management, growth and direction of the business in your region, as well as providing leadership, vision and strategic direction to the team.

Develop annual and long-term business plans for your region by executing a successful market strategy for sustainable growth;
Ensuring that excellent customer service is provided at all times;
Demonstrate model behavior and provide a framework for developing the skills and behaviors of the sales team through regular training, performance management and coaching initiatives;
Provide guidance to the sales force on contract negotiation and overall sales strategy, as well as the development and ongoing maintenance of the Territory's overall plans and individual account plans
Provide guidance to new hires to acclimate them to products, field service packages, internal processes (e.g., Legal & Orders)
Maintain relationships with key customers while developing and implementing strategies to expand market share;
Take responsibility for your region's sales budget and profitability achievement, cost management, local discount management and approval processes;
Coordinate regional marketing and business development activities such as industry events and regional seminars
Leverage the company's global alliances and relationships with local partners that can positively influence the purchase of products and services in projects in the territory and around the world
Develop and maintain sufficient knowledge of major industries (Utilities, Oil & Gas, Chemicals, Metals & Mining, Paper and Life Sciences) and keep abreast of their trends and issues to effectively align and apply technologies to meet customers' business objectives.
Provide management oversight to cross-functional and matrix teams
Develop a culture that effectively supports the recruitment and retention of world-class talent;
Ensure that client data and geographic segmentation is well managed and maintained;

Minimum degree :
Minimum degree in Chemical, Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or related
Experience in the software and automation sector
A charismatic change leader with strong customer management skills and the ability to communicate, engage and align teams behind a shared vision.
An entrepreneur, educated at degree level or equivalent with a business qualification with a strong grasp of business strategy and an analytical approach to problem solving
5-8 years of people management experience, including managing direct sales and matrix teams;
Proven experience in direct sales, including building relationships with and selling at the company level (using VP of Operations, CTO, CIO and other executives
Experience in key account / strategic management and at least 10 years of proven sales track record
Demonstrated ability to influence, challenge, negotiate, build credibility and work with integrity at all levels within the internal and external organization
Possess a strong ethic of continuous improvement and the analytical and process management skills to plan and drive organizational efficiency
