We are looking for a highly motivated and dedicated person to provide direction and support to a team of 14 Payroll professionals supporting over 4500 employees and managers throughout 16 European countries through HR and payroll operations / administration.

This position is part of the Europe HR Services function.

This challenging position has a broad scope of work which involves designing, developing and training the staff on new business processes for new and ongoing improvement projects in partnership with the 2 team managers and 2 business process analysts.

Your primarily focus will be on Germany exploring opportunities to simplify and automate processes to ensure maximum cost-efficiency and effectiveness.

Your Responsibilities :

Improve the timeliness, accuracy and completeness of Germany employees pay as well as the quality of employees' the support.

Provide direction and support to a team of 14 HR and payroll professionals, cultivating a culture of service excellence, flawless delivery, compassionate support and continuous improvement

Ensure Payroll & HR administration activities stay aligned with company policies, Sarbanes-Oxley controls, and statutory requirements

Exploring opportunities to simplify and automate processes to ensure maximum cost-efficiency and effectiveness

Strong problem solving and technical skills coupled with confident decision making for enabling effective solutions leading to high customer satisfaction and low operational cost

Optimize repeatable business processes and effective internal controls

Strong process documentation and communication skills

Lead projects of new HR and Agilent-wide initiatives into payroll systems and HR processes through practiced project management techniques

Train new team members on process, system and data flow

You will interact with company personnel at all organizational levels and will be required to perform duties of a critical or confidential nature.
