Amazon's TechHub in Spain looking for a Senior Technical Program Manager to join our teams.

You will get an opportunity to deliver critical features and software to our customers world wide. You will work closely with software engineers and product managers across different teams on a daily basis to define system architecture, elaborate user stories and discuss technical trade-offs.

You will negotiate features and release timelines between multiple internal teams to maximize the benefit to Amazon and our customers.

This role is inherently cross-functional you will work closely with Engineering, Product, Business, and Executive teams.

You will have the opportunity to apply this passion by leveraging your technical and program management skills leading medium to large projects involving distributed systems, web development, front-end / back-end design, and more.

You will also have the opportunity to collaborate with diverse business and technical partners to shape our technology.

  • We achieve this by combining technology and science to build and scale personalized cross-category product recommendations, engaging CX and actionable business insights.

    While a majority of our teams are based in Madrid, the ideal candidate could be based in Barcelona or other Spain locations on a case by case basis.

    We even have a team who could support candidates wanting to work from Luxembourg or London.

    We are happy to support candidates and their with relocation costs if needed.

    All candidates will be different in terms of their remote work concerns, with some loving the office especially as they are starting up and others preferring working from home.

    You will be a thought leader - setting the product vision and defining the strategic roadmap. There may not be a typical day.

    One day you may be leading a visioning workshop or presenting to a VP leader, and the next day helping a PM deep dive a customer anecdote and get to an escalation root cause.

    But what is consistent is always have your team’s goals and progress top of mind, providing the team prioritization clarity, giving quick clear feedback, meeting with key stakeholders to ensure alignment, and looking around corners to anticipate problems that may affect individual or team outcomes.
