This includes managing complex issues related to control platform and application for the wind turbine and wind farm controls;
is also responsible for developing and integrating design rules and processes to manage product releases and change control, considering all applicable standards.,
Lead product development and execution
Define roles and responsibilities, attract and retain talent, empower and inspire employees
Conduct performance appraisals and promote professional growth through timely performance feedback, coaching and counseling
Maintain broad awareness of efforts within group to assure technical quality excellence, timely completion of work and reviews, appropriate use of resources, and responsiveness to customer / program needs
Facilitate communication of technical information between organizations and within team
Ensure company compliance initiatives and training requirements are implemented within work group
Understanding and driving full safety design according to industry standards regarding the components inside the team scope and in alignment with compliance team
Own and manage day-to-day prototype software operations and validation
Integrates specific HW components and accessories
Provide innovative solutions to meet aggressive timing, product cost and reliability targets
Drives turbine NPIs through operability and / or controls CDR, PDR, & DDR
Drive resolution of field issues / PAC cases; while working with Fleet Support team and Project teams* Project leadership experience in Wind Turbine technology, and control application
Experience with control systems and software engineering tools
Engineering degree from an accredited university (e.g. Mechanical or Electrical engineering) or equivalent knowledge or experience
Proven ability to work in a cross-functional and global environment
Strong English oral and written communication skills
Result orientated with excellent planning and documentation skills
EU Work Permit,
Master's degree (e.g. mechanical or electrical engineering) or equivalent knowledge or experience
Experience in wind turbine control technologies, operability & validation
Expert knowledge on wind turbine component and system design
Able to work well with global teams
Shows ability to effectively prioritize delegate work
Proactively identifies and removes project obstacles or barriers on behalf of the team
