Job Description

The Manager, Strategy and Operations will serve as a key resource to the senior executive team for CNE, providing strategic, operational, and analytical support to help operate and grow the business.

This role is a unique opportunity to become immersed in the Digital Video, Podcasting, TV and Film industries while working closely with senior executives and creative talent.

The position will be based in New York. Primary Responsibilities : Assist in developing business strategy and business plan for CNE across all business lines Lead analysis and develop actionable recommendations to improve operational efficiency and scale across CNE’s digital video business Support management of key projects related to driving strategic plan forward (e.

g., new products, platform launches) Build data-driven, scenario-based models to evaluate business impact of strategic initiatives (e.

g., partnerships, investments, acquisitions) Develop storyline, gather data and inputs and create presentations for Company Board meetings and other executive level updates Identify, monitor and report on key market and competitive trends and new business opportunities Work closely with research, programming, operations, and finance teams to monitor performance metrics Desired Skills & Qualifications : B.

S / B.A from 4 year university with demonstrated track record of academic achievement 2+ years’ experience at a management consulting firm or investment bank (ideally within TMT practice), or in corporate strategy at a leading media / technology company Desire to work with senior leadership team to drive strategic business decisions for the company Demonstrated expertise and experience in research and analysis (e.

g. synthesizing internal data into actionable insights, building strategic plans and financial models, preparing industry reports) Adept at quickly learning new businesses, operations, and process flows in unfamiliar industries, and able to develop hypotheses to improve efficiency Pragmatic and analytical problem-solver Strong storytelling and slide-writing, ability to develop presentations for varied audiences Strong initiative ownership and ability to collaborate across teams, proactively manage timelines and ensure projects are being driven forward Excellent communication skills, both written and oral, and across levels of seniority Passionate about Conde Nast brands and media and entertainment industry, specifically digital video Detail-oriented Strong PC skills (Google Suite, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Keynote) a must What happens next?
