2 : Issue 11KV COI's

3 : Utilise understanding of circuits for switching and interconnecting

4 : Utilise knowledge of sub-station CO2 systems

ACCOUNTABILITY 002

EAF high current system

Main Activities

1 : Isolate furnace supply at rover way sub and put into circuit earth

2 : Fault finding on eaf 33kv supply cables

3 : Change EAF reactor settings

4 : Isoloate furnace safely using motorised isolator

5 : Fault finding on motorised isolator circuit

6 : Inspect and maintain RC network equipment

7 : Utilise knowledge of the VCB control circuit

8 : Inspect and maintain VCB'S

9 : Change VCB'S

10 : Change diverter switch filters

11 : Change divetrter switches

12 : Top-up transformer oil levels

13 : Fault finding on transformer safety devices

14 : Change rogowski coil

15 : Inspect and change water cooled cables

16 : Change secondary tie rod insulators

17 : Change mast insulation

18 : Change secondary cooling system pt100's and flow switches

19 : Utilise knowledge of high current interlocking circuit on HMI

EAF operational equipment

Main Activities

1 : Utilise knowledge of EAF process interlocks

2 : Fault finding and replacing shell pt100's

3 : Replace auxiliary cooling system pt1oo's and flow switches

4 : Retractable duct cylinder control and limit set-up

5 : Slag door control and limit set-up

6 : Fault finding on roof lifting system

7 : Reset roof lift flow meter

8 : Assemble roof lift insulation

9 : Replace furnace earths

10 : Alter furnace tilt angle reading

11 : Replace tilt angle sensor

12 : Maintain or replace roof slew limits

13 : Maintain or replace mast limits

14 : Fault finding on furnace greasing system

15 : Fault finding tapping control equipment

16 : Fault finding on maintenance platform

17 : Change maintenance platform proximity switches

18 : Change maintenance platform motor

19 : Fault finding on tapping car control equipment

20 : Replace tapping car inverter

21 : Replace tapping car motor

22 : Replace tapping car laser

23 : Alter tapping car positions on plc

24 : Fault finding on fifth hole additions system

25 : Replace top and bottom slew motors

30 : Replace and set-up vibrator motors

31 : Set-up automatic feed start and stop times on plc

33 : Caliberate sampling equipment using check mate

34 : Knowledge of the more sampler

35 : Change slew limits on the more sampler

37 : Adjust stroke on sampling probe

Requirements

  • Finished CFGS
  • Minimum 3 years' experiences
  • Level of english : equivalent to B1-B2.
