Eurofins Technologies Clinical Solutions is a new International Business Line focused on the development, manufacturing and marketing of in-vitro diagnostics assays and automation.

In the context of the Covid-19 crisis, our business is undergoing a rapid expansion with product launches in the field of serological Point of Care Diagnostics, serological immunoassays, molecular diagnostics and instrumentation.

At our company Eurofins Ingenasa, we have developed a new line of Point of Care Diagnostics products that will help determine the serological state of patients and larger cohorts, initially focused on SARS-CoV-2.

Job DescriptionThe Product Manager s overall objective is the sustainable and profitable growth of the assigned product line by assessing and understanding customer needs, defining product requirements and building business cases for new products, analyzing the competitive landscape in the marketplace and providing competitive intelligence to the commercial teams, communicating development road maps with internal stakeholders and managing product launches together with the Marketing Communications team.

Development of Voice of Customer and competitive intelligence for the assigned product line.· Developing a deep understanding of all competitors and their respective offerings in the marketplace (product differentiation, technical features, pricing, targeting).

  • Specifying and prioritizing customer requirements for current and future product offerings by interacting closely with external customers and Eurofins Labs.
  • Ensuring that the product specifications reflect the requirements the global customer base of the business (US, Europe, Asia).
  • Institutionalizing VOC through workgroups and advisory panels.· Frequent internal / external customer interaction.Ownership of the overall product roadmap for the assigned product line· Defining and driving the product roadmap to determine competitive and differentiated product offerings across the life cycle and achieving target levels of product revenue and profitability for the business.
  • Developing financial business plans for new products including cost of development and forecasted revenues and margins.
  • Managing the entire portfolio life cycle from strategic planning to tactical activities.Development of go-to-market plans· Developing and implementing a company-wide go-to-market plan, working with all departments to execute.
  • Defining pricing of product line.· Supporting the commercial team with market launch and product training packages (internal and external).
  • Liaising with Regulatory Affairs team on validation and accreditation roadmaps for the assigned product. line.Development of marketing material· Collaborating with Business Line Marketing Communications team to develop marketing material outlining the key differentiators of products.
  • Working with research institutions and key opinion leaders to facilitate the creation of white papers, peer-reviewed publications and other scientific marketing material.
  • QualificationsIdeally, you will have at least 4-10 years fast track work experience in Product Management of diagnostic technologies and an academic background in (Molecular) Biology, Chemistry or other relevant fields.

    You will be extremely customer centric with a global mindset and strong organizational talent to project manage multiple workstreams in an efficient manner to a desired end result.

    You possess excellent communication skills (written and verbal) in English (German would be a plus!).You have already successfully managed to influence stakeholders in R&D, Manufacturing and Sales in order to maximize potential of product lineYou succeed in the past by demonstrating a drive for scientific excellence and output.
