Job Description

The essential function of this market development role is to develop and drive the Target Temperature Management Therapy (TTM) in Iberia to achieve the desired financial performance through comprehensive and timely market development, portfolio management and execution of key marketing strategies and programs.

This role will responsible to create the strategy and tactics for developing the key projects for UCC business, mainly projects to develop the Target Temperature Management and develop the new Homecare opportunities.

By defining the value proposition, both clinical and economic, engaging with KOLs, partnering with Societies to leverage existing tools and expand the market while increasing penetration, being an active role in Key accounts expansion.

This role will be responsible to provide excellence training to country sales teams in both portfolio and HEOR tools, in line with EMEA strategic priorities and define main educational activities.

Responsibilities

  • Leverage the Cost effective (HEOR) models, work with KOLs, Hospitals and Medical societies to increase the penetration of our solutions.
  • Develop deep customer and market insight to enable fact-based decisions and guide strategy and execution
  • Provide in-depth knowledge on market trends and size, key influencers and competition
  • Develop market specific strategies and tactics to ensure that the TTM solution is well positioned for success, including providing clear direction on the relevant value and positioning to drive market development and category share gains
  • Articulate and guide market development and shaping working with other stakeholders in the region
  • Drive implementation of the European BDI UCC strategies including pricing, positioning and product promotion.
  • Develop pricing strategies in accordance with the BD overall company objectives and goals
  • Collaborate and work effectively with the European marketing team and with the country teams to support strategic imperatives and go to market approaches across the portfolio
  • Engage cross-functional teams, such as clinical, regulatory, supply chain, public policy and work with Global Platform Teams to drive and support relevant growth projects and provide key information to develop targeted strategies and tactical plans
  • Develop and maintain expert market and portfolio knowledge and support country teams with relevant portfolio information and training initiatives as appropriate.
  • Provide regular forecast and budget inputs and monitor and address business and marketing indicators
  • Contribute effectively to BDX projects, as appropriate.
  • Able to think out of the box and propose innovative projects and solutions.
  • Keep good relationships with EMEA to achieve investments offering Iberia clients as referral centers, positioning UCC Iberia as European benchmark.

  • Strong commercial awareness, understanding and results oriented.
  • Ability to translate market complexities and clinical information into marketing strategies and programs.
  • Market development and shaping competency, with ability to develop and implement clinical and economic value propositions (Strongly desired).
  • Strong communications capabilities to gain support and commitment from others and drive execution while building relations with medical staff, C-Suite and health insurance companies.
  • Self-motivated with a positive, proactive and professional approach to management and the ability to thrive in a fast moving and sometimes stressful environment.
  • Building collaborative relationships within the region and worldwide teams.
  • Accountability and willingness to make decisions.
  • Enthusiastic team player with energy, drive, and determination, as well as a genuine interest in health care policy.
  • Qualification and experience

  • Degree level qualification or equivalent.
  • Significant experience within the healthcare environment, including proven marketing experience with a track record of driving sustainable growth.
  • Experience in working with KOLS and medical societies.
  • Market Access experience and HEOR.
  • Interventional knowledge preferred and / or a strong understanding of clinical practice in acute care.
  • Ability to work in a matrix organization.
  • PC Literate intermediate level in Excel / word / PowerPoint etc.
  • Experience working with CRM as salesforce.com
  • Excellent communication, presentation and organisational skills.
  • Fluent in English.
  • Prepared to work away from home for up to 50% of the time.
