The Seller Services team in Madrid, Spain is looking for an innovative, Customer obsessed, and results-oriented Senior Product Manager to develop the next generation of tools for Account Managers.
Account management tools are one of the primary means in which marketplace place teams support Sellers to grow their business with Amazon.
In addition, well designed, efficient tools are a key driver of Account Manager job satisfaction. In this role you will lead a team of Business Intelligence Analysts and work with Software developers and designers to create tools that can scale to multiple job functions and geographies.
In addition, you will provide input into global tools and reporting teams to ensure the needs of Account Managers, Category Managers and Heads of Seller Services are met.
Successful candidates will be able to translate the needs of Selling Partner facing roles into problem statements and solutions for technical teams, manage stakeholders across multiple levels and functions, and help drive new feature launches and adoption.
Key responsibilities include :
Manage the Account Manager tools roadmap. This includes collecting feature requirements, working with partner teams to develop features, overseeing user acceptance testing, and driving feature adoption post launch.
Provide visibility to business, tech and global teams on the top needs of account managers and progress in meeting those needs.
Leverage technical teams in the EU, US, and China, to progress development and key milestones.
Develop and set priorities for a local team of Business Intelligence Analysts and developers in other teams. Establish mechanisms to track progress and use good judgment to overcome potential delays and blockers.
Partner with WW teams to develop their road map based on the needs of local teams. Effectively prioritize the biggest opportunities for the EU 3P business and highlight opportunities to scale features developed locally to other marketplaces.
In addition, develop recommendations for which tools should be developed for self-service use by Selling Partners.
Work with local business and leadership teams to size feature opportunities, align project goals and track impact of new feature launches.
Create new reporting and metrics to track feature impact and guide thinking for V2 launches.
Develop your direct reports and a network of SMEs to improve their product development skills. Role model Customer Obsession and ways of working to develop features that your Customers will love.
5+ years of work experience in a fast-paced environment, ideally in e-commerce, project / program management or consulting.
Proven track record in product management, including going ideation through to product launch and collecting V2 requirements.
Excellent organizational skills and ability to effectively multi-task and manage multiple projects in parallel.
Superior analytical and quantitative skills; ability to use hard data to back up assumptions and evaluate outcomes
Excellent business judgment and a practical approach to getting things done.
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills are essential : clear, organized, concise with an ability to adapt to the appropriate audience in a business setting.
Demonstrated project management skills of breaking down tasks, simplifying roadmaps, establishing owners and timelines, and status reporting.
Fluent in English
Proficiency in SQL
Familiarity with agile methodologies.
