  • Job Summary : -The UK Sales Support Team .UK SST. is a UKI Exec sponsored initiative which aims to increase the efficiency and effectiveness of our business development spend and improve the overall proposal management capability of the UK practice.

    The team achieves this objective by providing the Operating Groups and Growth Platforms a wide range of high quality standardized service offerings from Credentials Harvesting to end-

    to-end Proposal Management enabling the sales teams and subject matter experts more time to spend developing tailored and differentiated solutions and managing the relationships with their clients.

    The UK SST provides a single point of contact for proposal support for all Operating Groups and Growth Platforms in the UK.

    Since launch in July 2011 the UK SST has supported over 900 sales proposals and helped over 100 client teams achieve average BD spend savings of 8% paying for itself many times over.

    Key Responsibilities : -As per the ACG training curriculum whilst working as a Senior Proposal Support Analyst for UK SST you will gain experience and receive training in the following :

  • Work across all CSGs and Growth Platforms
  • Build awareness of the Accenture sales process tools and assets and teams
  • Familiarize yourself with a broad range of client industry and offering hot topics
  • Benefit from a comprehensive professional development training programmeRole Description The Senior Proposal Support Analyst role will deliver UK SST current and future range of Managed Services to our CSG customers including :
  • Execution of UK SST full range of Managed Services
  • SPoC for CSG Proposal Support
  • Cross CSG and GP exposure
  • Co-ordination of SME and content contributions
  • Working with the Bid Manager or Sales Leads to mobilize plan and manage the production of the proposal response documents
  • Providing standard proposal content or QandA responses
  • Identifying and securing approval of appropriate credentials and case studies for proposal responses
  • Undertaking research to source specialized content for proposals
  • Performing editorial and proof reading services for the Bid Managers
  • Engaging with a range of other internal support teams to source and validate sales information such as Accenture Research Creative Services Marketing Alliance Services and Competitive Intelligence
  • Preparation and support for Orals
  • Train and mentor junior Proposal Support Analysts In addition it is anticipated that this person will work with our operational staff .
  • onshore and offshore. to assist with the ongoing development of the UK SST Self Service Repository of sales collateral which is available to our sales teams including :

  • Range of best practice methods processes assets and advice and guidance for Bid or Proposal Management
  • Credentials and Proposal Repository
  • Frequently asked QandAs
  • Fast Fact Pack
  • UK Market and Industry sector intelligence
  • Links to specific offerings and capabilities and support services relevant to selling. Required Skills and Experience
  • Sales or customer-facing experience within Accenture or you have been recruited as an experienced hire with a sales background
  • Inquisitive and resourceful and an ability to work in a fast moving environment
  • Attention to detail and focus on quality .both proposal writing and proof reading.
  • An understanding of our proposal lifecycle sales processes tools and techniques would be an advantage. Duration Location and Career Level of Role
  • Permanent Role in AEE .Enterprise workforce. inc. 6 month probation.
  • Basic qualifications
  • BE or MBA are preferred
