The Category Intern lies within the Iberia Business. You’ll be working in a high performing team, alongside peers always trying to reach the next level.
You’ll be reporting into the Category Lead (Ketchup, Frito, Mayo etc..). Get ready for a lot of exposure to internal senior stakeholders.
You will learn from the strategy of the 6P category : Proposition, Product, Package, Price, Promotion and Place. We are looking for a category intern with a strong desire to learn in understanding the needs of consumers and the retail environment.
You must have a business mentality and a full understanding of marketing and sales principles, and aim to increase sales and profitability of companies to drive sustainable growth.
In brief, you will support the Category Lead on the below tasks; Analyze data or perspectives to determine trends in industry and consumers Determine the positioning of a product category to maximize visibility Monthly review and review of categories at the subcategory level Clear KPI financial tracking to deliver both the main line and the end-result as objectives Keep in touch with marketing teams to determine the competitive prices and promotional activities of a product category.
