Lear is looking for a technical leadership role responsible for hardware design and development of high power converters and high voltage electronic products for EV / HEV vehicles.
You will be involved in all phases of an electronic product development, from the concept definition, until release for production going through prototype, design and verification phases.
You will be part of a highly skilled cross-functional and cross-regional development team at the cutting edge of vehicle electrification technology.
Responsibilities will include (but may not be limited to)
Understand customer requirements, translate them into a high-level architecture and track their appliance in the low-level design.
HW development leadership of power converters and on-board chargers for electric vehicles.
Deliver and monitor an accurate and robust design using simulation tools and automotive std process.
Lead technical communication with customer, other engineering areas, program management, suppliers and quality teams.
Coordination of project HW tasks
To succed you must have :
Degree in Electronics or Telecommunications Engineering.
Languages : English (mandatory, both written and spoken).
Solid experience on power conversion topologies and analog / digital design.
Strong knowledge on EMC and HV electrical safety design implications and understanding of the related standards (UNECE R10, IEC60664-1, ISO6469-3).
Experience in developments according to ISO 26262
Firm know-how on cost oriented designs. Knowledge of market component costs.
