IDIADA is looking for a highly motivated mechanical engineer to work on a complete vehicle durability department. The candidate will collaborate in a leading team with classical mechanical durability methodologies and advanced electronic vehicle features testing, combining knowledge of communication protocols and mechanical durability and reliability aspects.
Currently IDIADA is managing different World wide durability programs for traditional and non-traditional carmakers.
One of the main challenges of this sector is to validate complete vehicle durability & reliability in short periods on a holistic approach.
The candidate will be part of the testing team having to deal with different vehicle systems both mechanical and electronics disciplines.
Responsibilities
Test control.
Perform vehicle inspections.
Perform static and basic dynamic evaluations.
Perform vehicle measurements.
Monitor routes and test events (main inspection, maintenance, measurements).
Perform test reporting.
Download and check data adquisition.
Report to customer.
Assessment of external durability partners.
Travel to the test locations and monitor test partners.

Previous experience in automotive.
Driving license B (C-appreciated).
Education
Mechanical or electronical engineer.
Language
