The Supplier Relations Specialist primary responsibility is to acquire, develop and maintain direct partnerships with a high-quality portfolio of hotel partners.
You will be responsible for managing and expanding Travelperk’s hotel program in your assigned regions and working with partners to maximize the production potential revenue from their participation.
The role is integrated into the Inventory department and reporting to the Director of Hotel Suppliers Relations.
Initiate contact and acquire new hotel partners (independent hotels and local chains) to build and expand the Travelperk Hotel program in order to maximize hotel take rate
Negotiate and close competitive commercial agreements with key partners for the Travelperk Hotel program.
Monitor price competitiveness
Ensure the growth of the transactions and take rate via direct partnership by contracting relevant partners and ensure their content, rates, and availability are attractive and competitive
Develop and sustain strong partner relationships by delivering ongoing superior consulting services (market data insights, revenue management advice, marketing opportunities)
Monitor and report on assigned destination performance and report internally as part of destinations reviews
Build Quarterly Destination Strategy and Action Plan with key potential / revenue establishments
Ensure hotels get onboarded correctly in Salesforce, extranet and TravelPerk platform
Collaborate with all relevant departments (product, marketing, data, sales & account management, customer care) to align strategies and optimize results
Provide ongoing input and feedback to the Director of Hotel relation on the assigned destination portfolio for developing effective and scalable solutions / strategies

Strong sales and negotiation skills : negotiate the best possible partner agreement, backed up with data to meet the needs of the preferred partners, and in a collaborative manner
Drive for results : appetite for business impact / execution, strong eye on maximizing margin opportunity and achieving critical strategic objectives
Data-driven decision making : ability to use analytics to build portfolio strategy and action plans. Always back up suggestions with data.
Self-starter : proactive, take initiative and ownership and always look for improvement
Organization and time management skills : structure, rigor, attention to details
Required Skills And Experience
Understanding of hotel business
Knowledge of travel online distribution and its evolving landscape
Understanding of the corporate travel industry
Comprehension of hotel connectivity (GDS, Channel Manager) is a plus
Comprehensive understanding of hotel revenue management principles is a plus
Looker and Salesforce proficiency appreciated
French and German language skills are a plus
