With specialty in solution design, interaction design, visual design, user research, content design or translation; they engage across the XD community, product management, product marketing, and engineering.

Design for the whole - end-to-end user journeys, across Sage Business Cloud, and for Sage’s design language system.
The Experience Design Team Lead role is closely related to the Principal Experience Designer role.
Principal Experience Designers prefer to manage projects, over managing people.
Experience Design Team Leads prefer to manage people, over managing projects.
But both are hands-on leading performers in design craft, and improving design processes.

Recognised expert and leading performer in product teams and across XD in at least one of :
Solution - as domain experts, SCRUM Product Owners, experts in technical expertise and legislative insight, providing the interconnect between PM, XD and Engineering.
Interaction - Transform complex tasks into intuitive, accessible, and easy-to-use designs for everyone, from first-time users to experts.
Define the user model, information architecture, and user interface.
Visual design - Bring iconography, typography, colour, space, and texture together to create innovative, great-looking Sage products that people love to use.
Sets visual direction, aligning with brand and design language systems.
User engagement - Cultivate a deep understanding of user needs, behaviours, attitudes and emotions. Discover how people experience our products, test prototypes, advocate for users, and help deliver a design that surprises and delights.
Content design - Provide locally-relevant micro-copy, learning content, and product self-help and documentation on a global scale.
Content is right for the user and context, and right for the business.
Translation and localization management - Accomplished in translation with the requisite technical project management skills to manage relationships and projects with external language service providers, as well as manage internal translation workflows, tooling, schedules, and status reporting.
