About the role :

  • We are currently looking for a Translation Vendor Coordinator Intern to be part of our team in Madrid. The job holder will report to the Manager of Vendor & Community Management and assist the overall Vendor Management team with maintaining current information and necessary documentation for our vendors ;
  • open recruitment objectives; screening, selection, qualification and development of external linguistic resources, etc.

    Responsibilities :

  • Compile and maintain vendor data and information records to assure we have most current information on file. Set up, follow up and maintenance of contracts and gathering of other required contractual documentation.
  • Coordination of vendor residency certificates and similar to assure required vendor payment and tax documentation is received correctly and swiftly in order to facilitate swift payments.
  • Support with resource requirements for tenders as and when needed.
  • Recruitment : screening, selection, qualification, rate negotiation and development of external resources according to required specializations, verticals, CAT tools and budget constraints.
  • Assist with data analysis and corresponding relevant follow up actions to help review and improve linguistic pool / s and assure we have sufficient capacity to accommodate client projects.
  • Collaborate with Resource Managers and Service Managers to optimize vendor utilization.
  • Support and monitor vendor integration and development by building partnerships, fostering usage of new vendors, etc.
  • Assist with programmed cost control initiatives determined by VM group.
  • Support the development of a group-wide vendor management team.
  • Profile :

  • Currently studying (or recently graduated) in Translation / Modern Languages / Linguistics / HR or similar.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Fluent English level. Knowledge of another official EU language is beneficial.
  • Knowledge of commonly used computer desktop applications and services (e.g. MS Office, production applications, Adobe Acrobat, Internet).
  • Knowledge of computer translation tools (e.g. TRADOS, ) would be a plus.
  • Interpersonal and negotiation skills, innovative and solutions-oriented.
  • Ability to handle new situations in a complex environment.
  • A motivated and flexible self-starter.
  • Well-developed organizational skills.
  • Ability to efficiently work under pressure.
  • Team player.
  • Location : Madrid

    Contract : Internship of minimum 8 months (and up to 1 or 2 years with the possibility to get a permanent contract after)
