Responsible for leading and mentoring a small development team within a specific task or project, side by side with hands-on development, this position will see you working on novel and dynamic projects for high profile clients developing market-leading technologies for a globally recognized multi-national company.

  • Provide planning and high level estimations
  • Support team members to reach their professional goals
  • Assess overall team and team members performance
  • Conflict resolution and corrective actions when needed.
  • Assure technical solutions are compliance with software architect, product owner, definition of done and planning.
  • Technical support to team members and other projects when needed
  • Support and defend scrum methodology and technical good practices within the team
  • Lead technically, hands on, projects assigned to team

  • Deep understanding of java 8 and 9, virtual machine,. tuning and profiling
  • Solid knowledge using standard design and integration patterns, as well as development best practices.
  • Proven experience with microservices
  • Swagger, Open API
  • Spring suite, mostly core and spring boot.
  • Kafka
  • QA and CI / CD pipelines. Unit, integration, contract, e2e and performance testing automation in microservices environments
  • Architecture. Solid foundations about scalability, security, high availability, resilience in microservices environments.
  • Docker and Kubernetes. Knowledge about Containers and pods development cycle administration.
  • Valuable :

  • Elastic search, logstash and kibana
  • Testing automation with TestNG

    Britebill product is able to integrate a wide variety of different billing systems to produce customisable bills for final customers, where customer information and behaviour is used to provide the right information at the right time.

    Bills produced with this product save literally millions to Telco Companies, as their customer don t need extra support, coming from call centers.

    Our product is used by several of the largest Telco companies in the world. Comcast, Sprint, AT&T, Vodafone, Rogers, just to mention some.

    Technically, it was born as a monolithic application and thank to its success, many new features have been added to support more and more customer needs.

    Not all our customers have the same needs. They don t need all the features our product is able to provide, but all of them need to scale and to provision the right resources according to their customers base.

    That s why we re addressing a migration to a microservice architecture.

    Our project consists on turning our monolithic application into a microservice environment and on top of that, to provide a SaaS solution to support smaller customers that don t need most of our features, but still could take advantage of the most basic ones.

    There ll be three teams working on that transformation and we re looking for a team lead for one of them. The technical stack we use matches with the ones defined as required for this position.
