Job Description and Qualifications
We are the European Shared Services Center of Air Products, a world-leading Industrial Gases company with operations in 50 countries.

The job holder is a member of the Middle East Technical Accounting Team and the job holder is, in cooperation with the Team members and the Technical Accounting Manager, responsible for all key compliance deadlines of the Air Products legal entities in the Middle East.
The responsibility of the job holder includes the timely and accurate Statutory data preparation for external reporting purposes to Tax Authorities, Statutory year-end auditors, Joint-Venture Partner, Statistical Offices and National Bank.
Additionally, the job holder needs to work with the Middle East Technical Accounting Team and the Technical Accounting Manager on the timely month-end reporting for US GAAP in accordance with the Company’s Month-end Closing schedule.
The job holder needs to prepare Statutory Financial Statements for the Air Products legal entities in Middle East in a timely manner which includes also the preparation of working papers and related schedules for the Statutory year-end audit process of the Statutory Financial statements with the objective to obtain a clean sign-off audit opinion by the Statutory year-end auditors.
The job holder will be responsible for the preparation of balance sheet reconciliations on a monthly / quarterly basis in line with company policy.
If the preparation of the account reconciliations requires the cooperation with peer groups and / or with other functional areas, the job holder will be responsible for ensuring all balance sheet reconciliations are completed and filed correctly.
Under supervision of the Technical Accounting Manager the job holder needs to set own priorities and work plan within the overall framework of the Financial accounting group and corporate deadlines.
