Responsibilities : + You will be responsible for managing, retaining, and penetrating accounts in a manner that meets the business needs of key customers, differentiates Corning within the marketplace, which supports the achievement of the division's sales and profit objectives + This role will develop and execute account plans that provide the customers with a full integrated set of product, process, service, and technical solutions which draw on Corning's total value proposition to meet specific business needs + The Account Manager will maintain frequent contact with the customer (s) to identify, build and strengthen the relationship, continually assess Corning's effectiveness in meeting the customer's needs, and ultimately maximize account penetration and customer retention + Serves as an advocate for both Corning and the customer by creating value for both parties and balancing the needs and constraints of both parties + Collaborates with Pricing, Product Line Management, and other functions to negotiate favorable agreements with customers The ideal candidate will have following : + Strong scientific background (Masters, Engineers, PhD or equivalent by experience) + Minimum 2 years work experience as a Sales Representative + Very strong experience working with various channels, including direct sales + Very strong working knowledge / understanding of tissue culture and cellular matrices + A good working knowledge of genomics is also highly desirable + Work experience in Life Sciences + Demonstrated track record of exceeding sales goals + Successful completion of a basic sales training course + Ability to travel as needed + Fluency in Spanish and English + Location is home based, in Spain + Valid Driving License + The application should consist of :
