Your Opportunity

We are actively seeking for an AV technician expert to join our phenomenal support team. The ideal candidate will take-on a variety of ownership, process logistics, integrations and support of our employees in the European regional offices.

This position will directly report to the IT support manager (Barcelona) and you will have a unique opportunity to support the success of our EMEA expansion!

What You’ll Do

Audio visual technicians have multifaceted responsibilities, including but not limited to, hardware / software integration, maintenance and repair work.

Some tasks may require coordination with external vendors or with one of our cross functional teams. AV technicians will also take part in internal event coordination logistics for our all-hands events and select external events.

Core job responsibility :

  • Responds to AV support queries, mainly over Slack, emails and request forms
  • Daily health check of conference rooms and AV equipments
  • Monthly in-office sweeps and audit of AV inventory
  • Document knowledge articles
  • Advocate training, coaching and empowering end users with the use of AV equipment
  • Maintain daily performance in AV support (Ticket closure, SLA, etc.)
  • Coordination of internal events and meeting support
  • Vendor management (AV, GC, Data)
  • Must-have :

  • Knowledge of AV industry standards and video conferencing software (Zoom, Web EX, Bluejeans, MS Teams, Google Meet)
  • Knowledge of AV control systems (Crestron and SVSi a plus)
  • Knowledge of Audio DSP programming on equipment from QSC, Biamp, BSS or similar
  • Knowledge of installation techniques and National Electric Code
  • Understanding of Networking and how it relates to the role (TCP / IP, baud rates, subnetting, EDID, HDCP)
  • Experience supporting in a hyper growth corporate frontline setting
  • Experience working with Dante, AES67, voice over IP, video streaming, digital signage
  • Experience working in multiple OS environments
  • Low Voltage Terminations : (RJ-45, XLR, RS-232)
  • Knowledge of signal flow
  • Customer centricity mindset
  • Team first mentality the team is dynamic fluid but our goals are aligned and unified
  • Great interpersonal and communication skills
  • Flexibility - traveling and availability will be required for this role, mostly in EU
  • Nice-to-have :

  • AV programming of control systems
  • Google Workspace administration
  • Slack administration
  • JAMF administration
  • Experience with physical infrastructure work, cabling, rack building, system troubleshooting and system verification
  • Able to read schematics + CAD
