Fire & Security Products now has an opportunity for a Sales Account Manager in Madrid . The main goal of this role is to generate profitable sales in area or region of assignment, based in Madrid, with identification of business development opportunities and product requirements.
Project CARRIER Security as a market leader for quality products, customer service and ethical business dealing. You will be working with our Aristech Security products offering connected and secure solutions for homes, building and enterprises.
What will I be doing as a Sales Account Manager?
Develop and maintain close customer relationship through programs of regular scheduled contacts and visits.
Negotiate prices within the established procedure to ensure profitable sales orders.
Assist in planning and developing short and long-term sales and marketing strategy within territory to achieve given turnover targets.
Analyze customer and market needs as well as competitors’ products and sales strategies, reporting promptly new developments to management.
Maintain control over selling expense limits imposed by company guidelines.
Participate at trade shows and organize seminars and product promotions.
Follow up on repairs and returns, identifying and documenting difficulties and problems.
Follow up on product performance, identifying and documenting difficulties, technical and application problems.
Facilitate specific and regular customer product training to ensure proper understanding of CARRIER F&S equipment
Maintain accurate, up-to-date records of daily activities and result.
Accompanies installers and / or the technical support engineer on trouble-shooting assignments and calls on end-users when so requested, to take corrective action and ensure customer satisfaction.
Develops and maintains liaisons with national account local branch offices.
Offers marketing and product management suggestions for product development to meet customer requirements.
Maintains contact with local authorities and approval agencies such as architects gets CARRIER F&S products specified.
Protecting the environment, preventing pollution and improve the environmental performance.
To be successful in this role you will have :
Technical or business bachelor preferred.
Between 4 - 7 years of working experience in sales.
Fluency in both English and Spanish
Consultative selling experience.
Experience of working in multiple vertical markets
Experience in electronic security industry would be an advantage.
Good negotiating skills.
Technical background combined with strong influencing skills.
Proven track records in a security technology environment.
