Description and Requirements
Strategy & Planning
Responsible to get aligned with the respective Geos and Global Accounts in order to develop a cooperative sales model based on internal account planning.
The BDM will interact closely with the Telco account to understand market needs and trends to then align with SSG and BGs to get their support in solution building.
The Telco is treated as a Global Channel Partner in a sell through / with motion. There is close coordination and alignment with the Geo and the GA Teams which will be reflected in the compensation plans.
Make sure that IDG, ISG, SSG, etc., are represented appropriately
Build customer knowledge ensure sales teams input customer knowledge through CRM tools
Sales
Support specific projects and portfolio development for designated Accounts
Accompany partners to achieve and grow their revenue
Ensure alignment of sales programs within the Lenovoportfolio
Bring innovative solutions to be sold through the designated Accounts
Marketing
Provide input to the integrated segment marketing organization about required support
Identify key individuals that marketing needs to touch in order to accomplish the plan
Management Leadership
Set high standards of performance for Lenovo Telco / GSIteam
Act as a liaison between Lenovo and the Channel partner to build long term relationships
