As an Marketing Automation Specialist you will use analysis and design techniques to solve business problems via Salesforce Marketing Cloud and to identify the organizational improvements needed, design systems to implement those changes, and train and motivate others to use the new processes.
You’ll spend time on the following :
Stay abreast of new marketing automation and marketing operations developments and make recommendations for strategic improvements to continually improve and develop the effectiveness of the platform and business and operational efficiency.
Responsible for day-to-day execution involving Salesforce Marketing Cloud including : email marketing campaigns, landing page creation, nurturing campaigns, form creation and processing, data management and segmentation, data integrations, lead routing, mobile marketing, reporting.
Work with marketing team members to implement scalable, repeatable and comparable methods of measurement and performance tracking.
Develop controls on all data inputs and outputs to drive data cleanliness
Defining and scoping business requirements, and participation as a subject matter expert in new processes and customer meetings.
Build merchant lifecycle campaigns that support onboarding, activation, feature, and reactivation programs via marketing automation functionality.
Support various testing initiatives in email and push and pull channels via agile methodology.
Standardize and enhance all central Salesforce Marketing Cloud assets for data privacy compliance.
Support of the user community with various technical requests.
Configure, implement and maintain all aspects of the Salesforce Marketing Cloud software platform.
Ensure timely, high-quality content delivery that satisfies Groupon SLAs.
Execute both proactive and reactive tasks based on evolving merchants’ needs and compliance.
You have 2+ years of relevant experience in a B2B e-commerce role
Experience working with Salesforce Marketing Cloud is essential (working with third party solutions and across digital channels) marketing automation certificate is a plus
Knowledge of Oracle Eloqua, Oracle Responsys, Marketo, Adobe Marketing Cloud is a good to have
Experience working with CRM or data-management systems or data-focused tools, such as SQL, is essential
You should have strong organizational, planning, quantitative, and technical problem-solving skills; strategic and creative thinking with keen business judgment, focus, and ability to see the "big picture", solve business problems using information technology
You have an extensive focus in making analytical decisions, the ability to set up A / B and apply critical thinking test set-up and results is a plus.
You have experience working with cross-functional teams.
Eager to learn new applications and technologies.
Proficient technical skills in MS Office, Google Docs, HTML (required)
