A Unit Manager implements Technology policies and guidelines starting always from the Health and Safety ones, manages and coordinates all engineering activities in the engineering unit assigned achieving good performance and people engagement, on a year to year more efficient and sustainable set up.
Unit org is setup around three teams specialized in product data configuration management (CFM), operational data analysis for product reliability and technical availability (R&DA), as well as on engineering change management ECM.
Most part of the team works on supporting activities and projects within the unit and the rest is assigned to different projects in Service Technology.

Implement guidelines and define functional specific policies, processes or methods to fulfill the superior Engineering strategy.
Plan and allocate resources and budgets to Engineering projects or activities.Drive the development of technical standards and procedures for Product Data & Documentation Management.
Ensure obeying local laws and regulations as well as company compliance rules.Ensure a proficient and capable workforce to conduct the Engineering activities in time and quality.
Have full responsibility for leading an Engineering Unit within Service Technology as direct line manager and will report to Head of department.
Have full responsibility for achieving results within own team by managing employees through leadership, development and engagement.
Set mission and strategy, define strategic targets for assigned teams, take overall responsibility for overall business results of the assigned teams in order to contribute to SGRE business results effectively.
Ensure the QEHS policies and upholding Business / Compliance guidelines is a prerequisite in this position.Interact with both external and internal contacts in a global context.
Internal : SE TE platforms & unit managers and CTO, ON, OFF technical functions. External : Suppliers, universities, public institutions, etc.
Provide cross-functional support activities on master data product and technical documentation configuration, as well as operational data to support the highest level of reliability and maintainability and the deployment of design modifications and maintenance improvements.
What you need to make a difference Passion for renewable energy and a sense for the importance to lead the change. We are looking for person who is an engineering manager that leads by example.
You have a technical background and knowledge of complex solutions like a wind turbine blade design and production. You have a MSc or PhD degree in engineering with 5+ years of professional experience.
You have solid understanding of product design and operation data and documentation. You have working experience in a technical engineering organization doing technology development, product development, manufacturing or servicing, preferably within the wind or aerospace industry.
Excellent English skills both orally and in writing are a must in the international team, and it is of highest importance that you can communicate your results in a clear and convincing manner.
An average Spanish skills are also required due to the wide presence of Spanish employees in this Product Data Management Unit.
Furthermore, you have a structured approach to your work, can handle multiple assignments simultaneously without losing overview and you are driving your work independently.
