Job Description Summary
The Advanced Tooling Engineer is to be located at the Castellon site (CAS). Within the responsibilities of the role at site, but not limited to, ensuring new equipment on site is setup as per specification and technical EHS demands are followed, managing FAT / SAT, installations, leading equipment related RCA’s, leading and tracking FMEA actions, capturing VOC, solve critical high complex equipment issues at site.
As part of a global Tooling team, the role will include managing global projects to develop, deliver and optimize equipment for the manufacture of wind turbine blades.
As a technical expert within the department, advanced tooling engineer must advise and steer technical decisions, write technical specification, FAT / SAT’s, protocols and procedures.
The role will also include supporting other plants globally and mentoring colleagues within the department at other sites
Roles and Responsibilities
Expertise in Epoxy, Polyester and Vinylester resin systems
Programming (Ladder logic PLC, robotic and automotive equipment),
Expertise in dispense machines (Glue machines, direct infusion, degassers)
Expertise on Pultrusion and composite processing systems
