The Role Veeva Systems is looking to recruit a Sales Director to lead the Southern European region, including Portugal, Spain, Italy and Greece.

It is this person’s responsibility to hire and coach a high performing sales team, develop and execute the right strategy for each of the local markets, create the right partner strategy to support the local markets and build executive relationships with our customers.

Your team will sell strategic solutions to the senior Clinical, Regulatory, Quality, Safety and IT stakeholders that help bring medicines to market faster.

What You'll Do

  • Recruit and lead a team of A-players to create new business and managing existing customer relationship
  • Manage executive relationships with senior stakeholders
  • Meet / exceed pipeline generation and revenue targets
  • Contribute to the European sales leadership team
  • Requirements

  • Located in Spain or Italy
  • Speaks English + Spanish + Italian
  • Proven track record in strong sales environments
  • Minimum 3 years of sales management experience in the region
  • Experience with hiring, coaching and leading a team of consultants or salespeople
  • Self-motivated and able to work with little supervision
  • Manage complex high-value solution sales cycles, utilizing internal and external resources as appropriate
