We are looking for an Application DeliveryManager to lead development, maintenance and improvement of delivery operationsfor a portfolio of workplace services applications to enhance the IT experienceof our employees and customers.

This roleprovides critical support to the Global Corporate Real Estate & WorkplaceServices Leadership Team, particularly in the establishment of the ZurichPlaces concept globally.

Your roleas an Application Delivery Manager will see you bring expertise aroundworkplace technologies and a vision on future trends while autonomously lead teamsmade up of internal Zurich people and external suppliers to deliver solutionsthat will change the way people use Zurich buildings.

As well as, deliver large projects toimplement global solutions and ensure right performance of those solutions. Therefore,the ability to build solid relationships to influence senior stakeholders,subject matter experts and suppliers is key.

We'll be looking for you to challengeand drive transformational change within our workspaces, championing the Zurich Places ethos and principles.

The rolewill involve working on a wide variety of projects, you will get a lot ofexposure to IoT and workplace experience technologies and experience of deliveringagile projects.

Your role As an Application Delivery Manageryour main responsibilities will involve

  • You'll be responsible for managing the application development and maintenance delivery of respective applications in line with of the CRE&WS Global Team need.
  • You’ll be responsible for reporting application performance and for taking action where necessary to address performance issues.
  • Always ensuring compliance with IT service management governance, standards and polices.

  • You’ll have to ensure that every critical application has a technology roadmap, to maintain related hardware and software and reduce operational risk from out-of-support infrastructure in collaboration with architecture and ITI.
  • You’ll have to manage customer satisfaction and service improvement programs, as well as escalation and complaint management.
  • You’ll have to manage Suppliers and contribute to the definition of new vendor services in close collaboration with Sourcing Management and work globally with other areas of the business and be confident when dealing with suppliers.
  • Successful deployment of application service-related change programs
  • Trouble shooting and resolution of any issues affecting progress of projects or service will be key, followed by implementing remedial action and developing quality plans.
  • You will be confident when faced with change and uncertainty and able to communicate at all levels in the organisation.
  • Your Skills and Experience

    As an Application Delivery Manager your skills and qualifications will ideally include :

  • A substantial, solid track record of IT delivery experience in a the CRE&WS context; including change management involving both IT and business aspects.
  • Knowledge of a Corporate Real Estate technologies, IoT and workplace experience applications and market trends.
  • Very strong stakeholder management skills.
  • Good command of IT Finances and commercial awareness.
  • Experience of managing or delivering through third party suppliers including both large incumbent strategic suppliers and smaller niche suppliers.
  • A naturally consultative approach and be able to provide leadership, advice, guidance, coaching and direction to stakeholders and team members.
  • The ability to bring people along with you.

  • Proficiency in English and some knowledge of German would be a plus.
