The Role : *As a Team Leader you will have leadership responsibilities and be accountable for the actions of the assigned Clinical Supply Chain Managers, Associate Clinical Supply Chain Managers and Drug Supply Coordinators, within the UK-based Fisher Clinical Services' Supply Chain Management operation.
You will perform the responsibilities of a Supply Chain Manager for your respective portfolio. Responsibilities include assisting with business process and training material development;
mentoring and coaching and leadership.*What you’ll do : Manage the resources and project staffing of the assigned team and self.
Make staffing recommendations to the Manager, Clinical Supply Optimization* Conduct candidate screening process, interviews, and makes hiring recommendations to the manager.
Provide mentoring and ongoing coaching and development support for team.* Administer the Performance Management Development process for the team including goal setting, mid- year and year-end performance discussions on time per company guidelines.
Hold staff accountable for their ongoing performance, acknowledges exemplary behaviours and implements progressive discipline, if necessary.
Conduct regular team meetings to assess the status of studies, identify necessary resources, and proactively address issues.
Monitor and tracks training requirements of all direct reports utilizing iComply.* Interpret protocols to assess resource requirements for new client opportunities and finalize pricing for the quoting team.
Gather and analyse financial information pertinent to budgeting and forecasting activity for the department.* Responsible for budgetary aspects including personnel expenses, and other related costs.
Identifies improvement opportunities for the CSOS team.* Responsible for maintaining appropriate metrics to ensure business success.
Work closely with the CSOS leadership to ensure best practices, training and procedural aspects are aligned globally.* Work with global CSOS leadership to ensure global processes and procedures are developed and followed and there is consistency between programs.
Demonstrate the ability to promote the company vision.* Represent and appropriately positions the services for potential clients.
Utilize understanding of Clinical Trial Supply Chain Management best practice principles to develop new or improve existing business processes and appropriately document and revise or develop associated training materials.
Stay abreast of relevant cGMPs, GCPs, and other regulatory requirements and ensures study management activities are aligned.
Attend relevant client related meetings and appropriately represent status of the Clinical Supply Chain.* Conduct activities in a safe and efficient manner.
What we need from you : In depth understanding of clinical trials and other business services - essential* Proven experience working with direct management of teams* Excellent organizational, planning, verbal, written and numerical skills with the ability to analyse and define solutions and self-manage multiple tasks to meet strict deadlines.
A strong and effective communicator, with the ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers and clients.
Strong customer management skills; proactively anticipates, understands, and responds to the needs of clients to meet or exceed their expectations.
Experience with both detail execution and strategic orientation.* Proven and demonstrated experience with multiple global clinical trials.
Previous experience of working with clinical research professionals.* Proven Clinical Supply Chain management experience, including supply planning and supply chain principals.
Proven experience with customers in a dynamic environment.* Strong interpersonal, organisational and communication skills to include excellent relationship building.
Accreditation in project management or APICS or line management is desirable.* Accredited college, university or recognized professional degree, preferably in a health-related field.
