The Role :

We are looking for our Social Media expert! You’ll own TravelPerk’s social media presence across all channels and be responsible for growing our followers, reach, and engagement! Ultimately you will be making TravelPerk the #1 travel management brand on social media with more following and engagement than any player in the market.

So who are you? You are a hands-on, highly motivated, creative individual with experience and a passion for and an unwavering belief in the power of social media! You’ll be energised by the thought of turning travellers into fans, turning fans into customers and then turning those customers into advocates! You’ll understand the best tactics for each channel, the best content to use, and how to truly engage with our customers (and potential ones too!) on a daily basis

What you’ll be doing :

As mentioned above you’ll be owning TravelPerk’s entire social media presence! You’ll be managing how we communicate our news, announcements, promotions whilst ensuring brand consistency across all channels and a regular cadence of posting.

You are someone very hands-on, love getting to know the different teams TravelPerk is composed of and you see opportunities to share insights with our audience.

In addition, you'll be in charge of our social listening and providing real time response and feedback to Marketing and Product Teams.

Of course there will be measuring and reporting on the performance and the creation of a strategic social media calendar.

What you'll bring :

  • Native English is essential
  • You are hands-on and enjoy being involved in the day-to-day activities
  • You ideally have +1,5 years experience with social media
  • You’ll have experience managing multiple social media platforms for a high-growth brand
  • You’ll have experience growing social media audiences and managing social media partnerships
  • You’ll have experience working with Hootsuite, Sprout Social, Buffer or another social media management tools
  • You’ll have experience reporting social media statistics to produce meaningful insights for a marketing team
  • Strong user of either canva / photoshop or similar creative tools.
  • It would be great if you also had (but by no means essential) :
  • B2B marketing experience
  • Startup experience
  • German, French, Spanish languages

    This position is a full-time role based in our HQ in Barcelona, Spain. We can help with relocation from anywhere in the world.
