This critical role in the PS Marketing Strategic Planning sits on the PS GTM staff representing and supporting the team with their Market planning needs.

The ideal candidate will be the primary liaison between GTM and CO, Finance, Alliances, and other business and Marketing organizations across HP.

The role requires a strategic and critical thinking skill set that becomes a financial thought partner to help PS Marketing with its growth goals.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the budget deployment process by supporting the GTM team with allocation scenarios by Market and initiatives, including the annual LTP / Budget cycle, quarterly Game Plan, next to invest & foundation budget management and other required ad-hoc requests happening regularly.
  • Also interacts with finance to close out Flash processes monthly

  • Drives the construction of statistical and financial models to analyze new aspects of business performance identifying and using cutting-edge analytical tools, models, and methods for creating the required reports that will support critical investment decisions based on identified compelling trends and business opportunities
  • Leads complex, time-sensitive projects with PS GTM, builds executive presentations to be used by the team.
  • Keeps a close tracking of budget utilization for Opex and Alliances and regularly updates the Country-level metrics deck, Game Plan investments, foundation budget, among other responsibilities
  • Leads complex data and business analyses to develop business plans and identifies recommendation and insights
  • Education and Experience Required :

  • Typically 10+ years total experience in strategy, planning, operations, budget management, finance, or related functional area
  • Advanced university degree (e.g., MBA) or demonstrable equivalent
  • Knowledge and Skills :

  • Fluent in English
  • Ability to interface effectively with all levels at HP, including senior management in multiple teams
  • Technical and data manipulation skills
  • Excellent financial modeling and growth modeling skills.
  • Excellent written / oral communications and analytical skills
  • Excellent financial / business acumen and strategic mindset
  • Ability to distill complex concepts into summarized points and Powerpoint presentations for executive consumption, reaction, and direction on decision-making
  • Excellent influencing, consensus-building and conflict resolution skills.
  • Knowledge of marketing principles and fundamentals, practices, tactics and tools and willingness to grow and learn more to contribute to the success of PS Marketing.
  • Ability to identify and propose simplification for operational complexities.
  • Excellent interpersonal and relationship management skills, including partnering and consulting with other groups
