Global Digital Payments Specialist; newly created role to own the full payments landscape and partner relationships and roadmap for the world’s leading online English-language learning business.

Exciting opportunity to join the leadership team of the world’s largest English-language learning business and deliver real business impact.

We are looking for a Global Digital Payments Specialist, reporting to the Global Operations Director, to take the lead in managing all of our payment methods globally.

This will include owning and negotiation relationships with all online and telesales transaction processing partners (gateways and acquirers).

EF English Live is the world’s largest online English language learning business. We deliver English language learning across a number of digital channels, including self-study materials and live, teacher-led lessons, anytime, anywhere at any ability level.

The successful candidate will have :

  • 4+ years digital / online / telesales payments expertise.
  • Demonstrable experience of designing, implementing, optimising and maintaining enterprise payment systems.
  • Ideally strong knowledge and experience of Adyen plus other payments gateways and acquirers (e.g. WorldPay, Cybersource, PaymentTech).
  • Global / multi-currency experience. Knowledge of FX implications and local vs cross-border transactions.
  • Proven ability to go beyond the description of a strategy and execute on projects a roll-you-sleeves-up’ attitude.
  • Track record in driving changes in an international and decentralised environment.
  • Strong leadership and influencing skills including multinational experience.
