Our client is the Spanish subsidiary of an international family group of German origin in the chemical sector, dedicated to the production and distribution of a wide range of chemical products and related services.
The professional environment is dynamic and flexible, with a very high customer orientation. We are looking for a person to be the Head of Order Management and Customer Service based in Barcelona.
Organisation of teams : definition and distribution of tasks, setting of objectives and
follow-up of work.
Coordination of Order Management Services (the whole Order-to-Cash process), incl. support in daily business.
Realisation of SAP trainings (SD, MM approach) and specific topics (Incoterms,
operational processes of order management, warehouse management, accounting,
Personnel issues and annual appraisals (employee and departmental development).
Recruiting : preparation of job advertisements, conducting interviews, negotiating and drafting contracts.
On-boarding of new employees : preparation of induction plans, training together with the team.
Coordination of cooperation with internal teams : setting up procedures and protocols.
SAP PROJECT RESPONSIBILITIES
Concentrate and share area of expertise in order management processes.
Establish processes : alignment with HQ processes and / or definition of new processes for our Spanish subsidiary.
Operational processes documented and updated
SAP implementation : identify shortcomings and request necessary adjustments,
providing proposed solutions
Corrections of system errors through knowledge sharing and communication
Work on master data : debugging and enhancement of customer, supplier, material, and logistics data (continuous improvement)
Collecting suggestions for improvement from the organisation and implementing them together with the SAP team (+ advisor and coordinator function for various areas)
Support in the day-to-day business as a central contact person also for German issues (looking after the departments Controlling, Master Data, EHS, SAP, QM, Purchasing, Sales)
Providing ideas and requirements for the system changeover to SAP S / 4 Hana from the
point of view of Order Management Services

EDUCATIONAL BACKGROUND AND EXPERIENCE
Minimum 5-10 years of experience in leading Order Management Services teams, in
complex organisations (+70 M€). Management of human groups +10 people.
Knowledge in SAP project implementations.
Experience in re-engineering SAP R / 3 processes (SD, MM).
Experience in business integration or takeover processes.
Experience in the distribution sector (buying / selling), not necessarily in the chemical
sector or chemical distribution sector would be an asset.
