Product Owner Planning

Purpose :

The Product Owner Planning will report to the Head of Mass Sales Activation and has full accountability for delivering end to end technical solutions and leading adoption and engagement of sales planning capabilities across all large markets.

The Product Owner Planning is an experienced IT / Sales practioner who is responsible for defining the vision, principles, standards and roadmap to guide prioritization, operations and management of technologies and system across the markets.

The number one goal of a product owner is to partner with country, sales and operations leads to ensure solutions are innovative and best-in-class to exponentially deliver business value and to ensure scalability.

Key Tasks and responsabilities :

  • End-to-End accountability for setting vision, roadmap and platform portfolio for the Mass Sales Market Planning capabilities which include Trade Promotion Management & Optimization and annual planning solutions.
  • Build trust to accelerate digital transformation with local senior and upper management stakeholders through the successful delivery of digital capabilities that achieve key business outcomes.
  • Partner with key mass market leaders to influence and guide technology solutions and services that deliver a competitive advantage for our markets.
  • Ability to balance long-term strategic priorities with short-term business needs.
  • Create strategies for the optimization of markets specific IT landscape by identifying consolidation opportunities and accordingly, influence investment decision in the Customer Platform Product portfolio.
  • Manage external partner delivering key capabilities within the platforms (e.g., Trade Promotion Management and Display planning optimization).
  • Partner with external vendors to influence and improve products or service offerings leveraging.
  • Establish internal and external best practice and organizational change management advisory board to build user adoption and organizational capabilities.
  • Responsible for the identification and execution of service improvements that will lead to lower cost of ownership Strong understanding of digital technologies, solutions and platforms, underlying IT services and IT processes.
  • Track the lifecycle of each digital product and its supporting.
  • Qualification & Competencies :

  • Bachelor's degree in business, IT or Computer Science 8-10 years' experience working, ideally in an agile environment.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
  • Entrepreneurial drive and demonstrated ability to achieve stretch goals in an innovative and fast-paced, multinational environment.
  • Excellent problem-solving, organizational and analytical skills, with the ability to evolve digital product strategy based on research, data and industry trends.
  • Ability to think strategically about technology and execute as necessary.
  • Experience in functional or IT OTC or FMCG organization.
