The Public Relations intern will join a global public relations team and report into the European PR Lead. You will gain hands-
on experience and will have the opportunity to develop your skills and learn the many facets of what an in-house PR role consists of.
Throughout this internship you will support the EU and North America PR Leads in a broad range of projects designed to improve Vistaprint’s global external image, build the brand and promote the organisation’s key messages.

This role will include :
Executing PR projects and campaigns focused on UK and NA and providing additional support for initiatives in other markets
Drafting press releases, media pitches, articles and presentations
Identifying opportunities for Vistaprint to comment on small business, marketing and design-related topics
Developing relationships with media with a focus on small business, enterprise and marketing journalists, and key influencers in the small business space
Participating in brainstorms to generate creative ideas for PR campaigns and activities
Collaborating with the content marketing, social media and organic search teams
Filtering and responding to queries sent to the EU and NA PR inboxes
Monitoring media coverage and alerting the team to any potential issues or opportunities
Reviewing competitor PR activity and small business news, sharing with the team as needed
Compiling monthly reports highlighting the impact and value of the team’s activities
Building and managing media lists
Updating the Vistaprint Newsroom site with press releases and other resources
What we’re looking for :
Undergraduate or master’s student, ideally studying a related subject such as communications, public relations, journalism or marketing
Experience in creative writing and / or content creation through university degree, previous work experience or personal interests
Good knowledge of the current news agenda and social media savvy
Strong written and verbal communication skills in English
An ability to think creatively
Well-organised, detail-oriented and self-motivated
Ability to interact effectively with others, take direction and handle constructive input
Proficiency in Microsoft Office
