SUMMARY OF ROLE AND OBJECTIVES :
The Information Security Consultant actively participates in managing the delivery of the SOC services to internal customers.
The position encompasses defining, describing, implementing and monitoring the Incident / Problem Management process for Security Operations, together with Security Management and in cooperation with the vendor and stakeholders.
Specific Assignments :
The main responsibilities of a Security Delivery Consultant :
Run the Incident / Problem Management process in Security Operations;
Ensure the delivered services are fit for purpose, carrying out relevant reviews / propose modifications as necessary;
Cooperate with internal SIEM / SOAR development teams, L3 Incident team and other Security actors to further develop Security Operations;
Define SLA and performance metrics of Security Operations, steer activities as per metrics;
Monitor the performance of the external vendor’s Incident Management team, ensure SLAs and KPIs are met;
Define and implement improvement plans to meet SLAs and KPIs;
Coordinate the work provided and service delivered by the security partners;
Participate in defining and implementing the evolution of Security Operations : products lifecycle, transition from short-term setup to long-term setup with the current partners, integration with SIEM, technology roadmap;
Prepare and publish reporting to IT Management .
Other Assignments :
Build and maintain client relationships both internally and externally;
Organizing and Leading Service Delivery sessions including incident review, problem resolution, capacity and planning;
Support the Head of SOC & Security Delivery Manager in day to day activities.
Minimum of 2 years of experience in analytical role (intelligence, cybersecurity, business operations, etc.) working with executive level decision makers.
Solid experience in one of the following fields : Practical experience in project management, preferable in IT field / services;
Working on numerous tasks simultaneously and manage a heavy workload;Excellent reporting skills;Managing conflicting priorities whilst managing stakeholders at different seniority levels;
ITIL certified or solid knowledge;
Agile certified or solid knowledge;
DevOps savvy (principles of DevOps).
Experience in security Incident detection and management.
Very good communication skills (concise writing and orally convincing);
Very good interpersonal relation skills at all levels of the organization;
Ability to work in a complex international environment;
Eager to learn and continuously develop personal and technical capabilities.
Education required :
M.Sc. or comparable education in Information Technology or Information Security;
Languages : fluent English.
